The best travel agency in kolkata | The best travel agent in kolkata

Bengalees’ fascination for travel and tourism is known to all. Bengalees have always being way ahead of people of other states in buying tickets and booking hotels in travel destinations. There is no such tourist spot in the country where you won’t find Bengalee families. Durga Puja being the biggest festival of the Bengalees, tourist spots get thickly crowded with the Bengali-speaking people. People of the state start booking seats in trains and hotel rooms at least two months ago to avoid the rush but often struggle to get reservation, because the demand for tickets reaches the extreme point.

Thanks to the economic development of the country, earning capacity of the Bengalees has increased a lot and has brought even distant corners of the country easily reachable for them. In the past, Bengalees’ traveling was mostly limited to Puri, Digha, Darjeeling and Sikkim but nowadays they are planning longer trips. Bengalees’ passion for traveling is no more limited to the geographical boundaries of the country. In the recent times, percentage of Bengalee tourists in places like Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong has gone up significantly. Disturbances in the Kashmir Valley has made it a bad choice for them and so are opting more for places like Shimla, Kulu, Manali, Ley, Ladakh and Rohtang Pass.

The influence of Bengalees in travel and tourism is evident from hotels at the tourist destinations. Almost all major tourist destinations in the country have got some hotels that offer special Bengalee food. In fact one can find hotels that are being run by Bengalees and they are doing quite good business as there is no off season for the Bengalees.

2009 has been a bad year for the global economy. Many people have lost their jobs and many have been getting deducted salaries as companies are on a cost curtailing mode. Everybody across the world is trying to save money. Same is the case for the Bengalees too but that does not seem to affect their love for traveling. May be this year, the percentage of Bengalee tourists will go down but that does not guarantee a train ticket or a hotel room in a tourist spot. May be this year they will not plan a foreign trip or distant places but will surely visit the nearby tourist spots. Actually, there is not anything that can dominate the ‘tourist’ entity that all Bengalee individual possesses within him/herself. Bengalees will keep on dominating the travel and tourism industry of the country, come what may!
